Get the new FreedReadR (08.23.2010 version 1.0.1.0).

NOTE:  As of 08.31.2010 (4:10 EDT) - Fixed install package so it now works properly on Win7 / Vista.

To download the Windows (XP, Vista, 7) installation click here (FRSetup1010.zip).  The setup program is zipped up, because my site doesn't allow .exe files.
Once you download it, you can unzip it, and then run the included setup program(FreedReadR1010.exe).
When the program installs it only adds two files to your computer.
1. FreedReadR.exe -- executable program
2. feeds.xml -- xml which defines a number of popular feeds, which can be altered by the FreedReadR.exe.
More installation steps are included after the image of the program below.

If you would like to download the plain zip file, which contains two files, click here (FreedReadR1010.zip -- no setup program includedInstead you have to unzip and copy the two files into a directory of your choice.):
1. FreadReadR.exe  -- executable program
2. feeds.xml -- xml which defines a number of popular feeds, which can be altered by the FreedReadR.exe.

After that, you should see a message similar to the following:

Of course, the name of the file will be FRSetup1010.zip.

Open - The Easiest Option
Clicking the Open button is the easiest option, because the computer will automatically download the zip file and open it for you.

After Clicking Open Button
If you click the Open button, you may (Windows Vista / Windows 7) see a message similar to the following:

Click the [ Allow ] button
After clicking the [ Allow ] button you should be presented with another dialog box which displays the setup file (FR1010Setup.exe).

Now you can start the FreedReadR installation by double-clicking on the FR1010Setup.exe file and following the steps.
