The Message
There is a God who loves you so much that He wants you to always be with Him.
Which God, What God, Who God?
The people of Israel had a saying that went like this:
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one." ~Deuteronomy 6:4
It is that one and only true God who loves you.
So Many gods, So Many Voices
But, there are so many voices about who or what God is. How can we know which one is right?
Understanding God
God knew it was this way. He saw all the people wondering who he was. He knew that people couldn't understand Him, because He is so vast and difficult to understand.

He knew that we learn better when we see lessons in action.
He knew that we had a desire to see the One who called Himself God.
At one point in God's history, the people told Moses' brother Aaron that they wanted to know (and see) the God who had saved them from Egypt.
[Aaron] took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then [he] said, "These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt." ~Exodus 32:4
Their desire to see was so strong that they were ready to accept a false image, just so they could believe.
They wanted more than just words and thoughts and philosophy. They wanted something they could see and something they could touch.
Words, Thoughts, Philosophy
We all need to see truth. We desire to see it lived out before us. And so, God knew what he must do. He knew that the words and the truth must become a living breathing person who would stand as an example forever. The completeness of time came and God sent his only Son into the world. God became flesh.
God Gave Himself
He knew we'd never understand it any other way, and so he separated himself from being God in Heaven and became God on earth. God wrapped in flesh, limited in all ways as every man: feeling pain, anguish, happiness, misery, ecstasy. It's a mystery, but it's beautiful.
Conquering Love
Instead of destroying the world as a conqueror he decided to conquer the world with love. He gave himself utterly and completely to the world. He gave everything. Even his health, his body and his blood.
Discover Jesus, Discover All the Answers
If you never learn who Jesus is and what he did, you may just think it's all just religion -- words, thoughts, philosophy. Don't let anyone tell you who He is, but instead learn for yourself.
See His Face, Know His Love
Take the time to learn who Jesus is: what he did while on earth. Then, make your decision based on facts. Because once you see his face -- see the truth of what He did and how He loves you -- you will understand the One God who truly loves you and desires to be with you forever.
